Lugeck
Das Lugeck liegt im Herzen der Wiener Innenstadt und trägt die Geschichte der alten Wirtshauskultur in seinen Wänden. Für das Restaurant der Familie Figlmüller entwickelten wir eine Neuinterpretation dieser Tradition — kein Museum, sondern ein lebendiger Dialog zwischen dem Historischen und dem Zeitgemäßen. Symmetrie strukturiert den Raum, Materialien erzählen von Handwerk und Beständigkeit, die Atmosphäre ist dicht und zugleich einladend. Hier trifft das Alte auf das Neue — nicht als Kontrast, sondern als Kontinuum.

Lugeck sits at the heart of Vienna's old city and carries within its walls the memory of traditional Viennese inn culture. For the Figlmüller family restaurant, we developed a reinterpretation of this heritage — not a museum piece, but a living dialogue between the historical and the contemporary. Symmetry structures the space, materials speak of craft and permanence, and the atmosphere is at once dense and welcoming. Here the old meets the new — not as contrast, but as continuum.
